Booking of equipment
Creating dialogue and Editing
I continued to edit our footage, by cutting, trimming and putting the sequence, as a whole together. I used and learned some new distinguished editing features. I prepared the sequence that it represented the past ( the killing of the victim) by composing it so that it was black and white and by adding a feature that made the edges / outline of the shot black so that it would look as though it was being related from another’s point of view.
Voice over
Therefore we talked to Sarah, who said that we could use the studio whenever we were ready and fully prepared to use it.
Editing / Reviewing our footage and shots.
We uploaded our recording and began to trim and cut the drama. We felt that we recorded as whole, some quality footage and shots. Although we felt that we needed to record one particular shot again (the shot where the pathologist pockets the key evidence).
Setting???
Filming
As a result, we felt that we worked exceptionally as a pair, we felt that we worked hard and both got the utmost out of each other by keeping each other motivated and ensuring that we both agree on the ways we intended and wanted to accomplish things

Group name finally decided
Story board and step outline
I have worked with Lewis on the story board while, Lutfa and Shaistah have concentrated on completing the step outline.
We first created a step outline as a group, but the teacher told us that we needed to be specific and detailed with it. So therefore Lutfa and Shaistah are both working on ensuring that they are as detailed as they can be.
Me and Lewis were working on the story board but however, miss also told us that it was detailed enough and that we had some shots missing. As result we decided that Lewis would finish on the more detailed sketch of the story board, whilst I would create a production team logo.
Areas of improvement
Strengths:
Our idea seems good and interesting and our group seem eager to achieve well, and to create a good graded crime drama.
Weaknesses:
Although we have a strong idea, it seems a little vague, so we need to patch it up a little.
We have also lost a lot of time discussing small factors to ensure our plan works, so we need to work faster and more efficiently.
Personal response:
Personally I feel that I have worked well, adding numerous idea to the table and helping to carry out tasks such as research on different crime dramas. More on, I feel that I have made a good effort to get along with my group members, as it’s the first time we’ve worked together.
Refining our idea
A girls running through the woods and clearly it seems as though she’s being chased by someone or something. She seems frightened and terrified while she’s running until she trips and is knocked out and the scene becomes a blur. In this time she is murdered by her killer.
A DCI turns up at the scene and calls for the pathologists to arrive. The pathologists arrive; they search and gather evidence from trails of evidence that are left behind. Meanwhile the killer is lurking around in the back watching the investigation unfold.
The group meeting
As a result we decided that I was going to complete the producing companies’ logo, Lutfa would research a number of sound techniques that we could possibly use to help enhance our drama, Lewis would finish / finalise the story board, and Shaistah, the team leader would write up our groups synopsis and help the rest of the group members when needed.
Questionnaire
Below is a questionnaire that I created in order to gain information from potential audience of our crime drama. I will produce a number of questionnaire’s, to offer to possible viewers to fill in. This will then allow me to significantly pitch more ideas and data to my group by using my results and fin in order to possibly improve and enhance our crime drama.
1. Are you male or female
2. How old are you ?
3. Do you enjoy watching crime dramas?
4. What do you think makes an entertaining crime drama?
5. What do you find most appealing about crime dramas?

• If other please state ___________
6. What kind of props do expect to see?
7. Which of the following two would you prefer over one another?

Pitching to the class
Refining our idea:
A girls running through the woods and clearly it seems as though she’s being chased by someone or something. She seems frightened and terrified while she’s running until she trips and is knocked out and the scene becomes a blur. In this time she is murdered by her killer.
A DCI turns up at the scene and calls for the pathologists to arrive. The pathologists arrive; they search and gather evidence from trails of evidence that are left behind. Meanwhile the killer is lurking around in the back watching the investigation unfold.
We have decided on our roles:
Lutfa is doing the sound; she has good ideas and seems as though she’ll enjoy creating the sound and researching different conventions that we could possibly use.
Lewis is the cinematographer; his done this before, so from using his experience we have an advantage which hopefully we can exploit.
Shaistah is the director; she seems very enthusiastic carrying the group, she’s shown her authority already and it feels as though she’ll ensure that the group are working and are performing to their full potentials.
